We are overwhelmed with delight and at the same time, disheartened to announce Scott Ludwig’s retirement. Scott has been a tremendous asset to SunDance and specifically the Sales Team. His passion for building relationships and solving the customers problems will be sorely missed. Scott’s extraordinary career in the print industry started in St. Louis in 1979 at the age of nineteen as a delivery driver. He worked his way to a Folder and Press Operator before branching out into Production Management, Fulfillment, Logistics, Purchasing, Sales and Account Management. Scott is one of the few people who can say they have done nearly every job in this industry! His remarkable experience and hard work played an important role in the growth and success of SunDance. We take our hats off to you, Scott!
Additionally, Scott has been a friend to all of us with his optimism, thoughtfulness, and amicability. His willingness to put in extra time and effort to help us, and his clients, meet deadlines and expectations demonstrate his commitment to excellence and dedication.
We wish Scott the very best as he embarks back to his hometown in Missouri. You will be missed, Scott. The SunDance family wishes you a wonderful retirement.

The Foil & Specialty Effects Association (FSEA) has announced the honorees in its 27th Annual FSEA Gold Leaf Awards Competition and we are so proud of the 2 Gold Leaf Awards we received this year.
Best Use of Foil/Embossing: Silver Leaf Award
Best Use of Special Diecut: Silver Leaf Award
The typical awards presentation would have occurred during an in-person conference event however, this year the FSEA released a video awards presentation to honor the winners as a part of the FSEA Online Learning Experience. This year saw entries come in from across the world—including the US, Canada, Denmark and Taiwan. A panel of industry expert judges chose the projects that best demonstrated excellence in foil stamping, specialty coating, laser cutting, embossing, die-cutting and more. The competition also celebrates the ways these specialty finishing techniques add quality, value, security, aesthetic appeal and brand recognition to the print medium.
As always, SunDance is dedicated to delivering high-quality, cutting-edge solutions for each and every one of our clients. We are so proud to be recognized as pioneers in specialty finishing techniques and effects as we continue to create, innovate and bring your most ambitious print projects to life.
It is with a broken heart we inform you of the passing of Mike Waldron on Tuesday, July 7th. The SunDance family grieves at the passing of a tremendous individual, valued colleague, and dear friend.
Mike has been a part of the SunDance family from nearly the beginning. Originally managing SunDance Publishing company, he had a small hiatus and then rejoined the SunDance family in October of 2014 as member of the Sales Team. Mike’s contributions to Sundance will never be forgotten. He was an amazing human who worked tirelessly to solve his customers problems. His quick wit, kind nature, big smile, and ability to make people laugh will certainly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.
