Here at SunDance, we’re all about doing our part for the environment. We try to live sustainably. There’s a misconception in the world that we should be shifting away from paper and forest products as climate change looms. However, that kind of thinking is sadly misguided. Trees make oxygen, take in CO2. If climate change is being led by CO2 emissions, we shouldn’t be cutting down trees, right? Well, it’s more complicated than that. We actually have more trees today in the US than 100 years ago, yes, you read that right!

SunDance Supplies WESH Channel 2's Olympic Signage
SunDance is proud to once again supply the signage and wide format needs for WESH Channel 2’s Olympic coverage of the 2022 Beijing Winter Games. To transform their news studio space into a space fit for Olympic royalty, WESH turned to Sundance’s gold medal wide format team. We draped printable backdrop material on the studio walls to provide the expansive mountaintop views, and applied adhesive backed vinyl wall material to wrap the columns, curved wall, and monitor in vibrantly colored designs. The finishing touch on the performance worthy set was the dimensional and lit WESH Olympic Zone sign. We even sent our first-place team of installers to oversee installation and make sure the studio space was transformed into a stage for world class athletes. We are proud to partner with WESH on their studio décor needs and love being a small part of the Olympic magic. Go Team USA!
SunDance Boosts Creative Print Options with Easymatrix Purchase
SunDance is pleased to announce our recent purchase of the Easymatrix 106 C/CS die-cutter from Heidelberg. The Easymatrix is a versatile piece of equipment that can be used for anything that requires die cutting, kiss cuts, contoured cuts or perforations, and will allow us to offer our customers even greater creativity with their designs.
Some areas where the Easymatrix excels include:
● Folding cartons (including those with intricate cut requirements)
● Corrugated cardboard up to 4 mm thick
● Packaging
● Signage and displays
I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for SunDance Employee Appreciation Day Ice Cream!
Friday, March 4th, was Employee Appreciation Day at SunDance, and to celebrate our employees, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream Truck was on site to serve up some delicious ice cream. A sweet treat was enjoyed by (almost) all while everyone delighted in the beautiful sunshine and warm Florida weather. Of course, we couldn’t forget our VIPs – Very Important Pet employees – they take their “official office dog” jobs very seriously! Whether trying mint chip, vanilla with sprinkles, chocolate, strawberry sorbet, or a unique custom cone creation, the SunDance family enjoyed some time to mingle, relax, and start the weekend off with a smile.

There is no doubt the past couple of years have presented challenges many have never experienced before. It is during times like these we naturally turn to self-reflection and examine our – and our company's - place in the scheme of things. Throughout the past two years, SunDance has remained open as an essential business and committed to our core purpose of existing to solve problems for our clients, employees, and partners, and continuing to live up to our core values every day. We're still facing unprecedented challenges as we look ahead this year and remain committed to our core value of "doing whatever it takes to get the job done".
