SunDance works with many print publications around the country, but when New Bridge Polo Magazine came to us in the summer of 2021, we knew it was going to be something special. The magazine needed to be bold, beautiful, eye-catching, impeccably printed and with great attention to color and detail. After all, this was a two time national print media award winner knocking at our door!

SunDance Boosts Creative Print Options with Easymatrix Purchase
SunDance is pleased to announce our recent purchase of the Easymatrix 106 C/CS die-cutter from Heidelberg. The Easymatrix is a versatile piece of equipment that can be used for anything that requires die cutting, kiss cuts, contoured cuts or perforations, and will allow us to offer our customers even greater creativity with their designs.
Some areas where the Easymatrix excels include:
● Folding cartons (including those with intricate cut requirements)
● Corrugated cardboard up to 4 mm thick

Lap Seal vs. Fin Seal on Flexible Packaging Products
In the wide world of vertical form-fill-seal and horizontal form-fill-seal (VFFS and HFFS) packaging applications, you generally have a choice between two types of seals; Lap Seal or Fin Seal. As for which type of seal is right for your products, that is case-sensitive for your unique applications. SunDance can help you with creating custom flexible packaging.

The typical awards presentation would have occurred during an in-person conference event however, this year the FSEA released a video awards presentation to honor the winners as a part of the FSEA Online Learning Experience. This year saw entries come in from across the world—including the US, Canada, Denmark and Taiwan. A panel of industry expert judges chose the projects that best demonstrated excellence in foil stamping, specialty coating, laser cutting, embossing, die-cutting and more. The competition also celebrates the ways these specialty finishing techniques add quality, value, security, aesthetic appeal and brand recognition to the print medium.
