At SunDance, it’s not enough to just say that we care about sustainability. Sundance has chosen to obtain certifications from the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC® C155908) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) and they are integral to our environmental initiatives. Without healthy forests, our environment, society, and the economy would be at serious risk. We take this responsibility seriously, and are always investing in practices that reduce waste, improve our environmental efforts and minimize our carbon footprint. Through every step of the process—from in-house initiatives to outside vendor relationships—we are fully dedicated to being conscientious stewards of our local and global ecosystem.
SunDance Celebrates Earth Day
As Florida’s first Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) certified printer, Earth Day holds special meaning for SunDance. In addition to our extensive recycling efforts, which resulted in recycling 7,140 trees’ worth of paper and over 2.9 million gallons of water annually, SunDance continuously implements conservation practices to reduce resource consumption before it reaches the recycling stage. These efficiencies result in not only decreased materials consumption, but also in the time it takes to complete an order. Some of our more recent conservation efforts include the implementation of press automation processes, improved proofing and prepress software, and mailing automation processes. In addition to our recycling and conservation efforts, SunDance reuses and repurposes boxes and packing materials to prevent them from ending up in a landfill. SunDance’s Sustainability in 2018: How We’re Making an Impact

Darden Restaurants Joins SunDance to Plant a Tree at Turkey Lake Park
SunDance Marketing Solutions announced today that they partnered with Darden Restaurants, Inc. and the City of Orlando’s Green-Up Orlando program to plant a tree in Turkey Lake Park. As part of SunDance’s ongoing sustainability effort, they offer clients the opportunity to join together and plant a tree in the Orlando community. SunDance’s aspiration is to create a cooler and greener future for the City of Orlando’s Urban Forest and Florida State Forests.
